With the Willing

pressureHaving horrible moment with tonnes of works to be completed? Wishing you best of luck then. But, no matter how terrible it is, remember this word, chilling.

Perhaps it seems like not taking seriousness into account, but if we are too serious in something, we are filling ourselves with stress and pressure. And what would happen if there is too much pressure? How would that affect the quality of the completed works? And how would that affect the person in charge for particular tasks?

Am not saying that those contribute only negative impacts because it is true that we need to be serious while working and we also need ‘good’ pressure. But, the most important fact to remember is to be balanced. While ‘focus’ is important, so do ‘relax’.

If you are given two options; one, to finish your work on time, with being pressured, dealing with the job but at the same time hate it because of the pressure, and complete the job successfully; two, doing your job with relax yet filled with seriousness, enjoying your job, and completing it on time with joy!, which one would you prefer?

So, as long as it is not delayed from the due date, chill while working, cheer “done!” while you’re smiling.

Downturn

economy___yup__by_buka691Prediction for tomorrow’s market? Anyone? Will it keep declining as it is now? Or will we have to face a big depression this time?

As for now, many brokers have to change their title from ‘broker’ to ‘broke’r with the current market situation which is not promising at all. This nightmare is happening all over the world, without any exception, including rich nations.

And how would that affect us? Do we have to be worried if the market keeps going down as the counter closed each day? We are not investors, so why should we concern about it?

If you think that there’s nothing to be concerned if the market are facing downfalls every day, you might want to re-consider your words. We are not living by our own even though we do have consistent incomes every month. Dependent, might be an appropriate word to describe our lives.

Where will we go before we can prepare our dishes? Groceries. That means, we are depending on them to get raw materials before preparing our dishes. Where should the stores go to have enough supplies for us? Well, it depends on what type of supplies that they want. For example, if they need supplies for breads, they will look for factories that produce breads. And now, what will the factories need to have before they can produce breads? Wheat? Now they will need to look for wheat’s suppliers, e.g. Farmers. But, before the farmers could supply it for the factories, they will have to plant the crops first. Will it stop there? It won’t, but I will stop there as this post will never get posted on my blog if I were to write all the relations.

What is the relation to our current economics? To make it simple, when the market falls, the price of stocks will fall, meaning the companies who owned those stocks will have less money because their companies will have less capital to run their production lines. And those companies are coming from all different industries; Agriculture, Technology, Energy, etc. So, when they have less money for their productions, that means, they will either turn into bankruptcy, or they will lower their productions, and this will affect the price of the goods. But how? Well, for example, if you want to sell computers to your friends in your class, and you are the only one who sells computers to 20 others, you can charge any price you want because your classmates do not have alternatives to buy computers. But, what if there are four more people in your class, who also sell computers, will you stick with your current offered price? Or will you lower your price to compete with the other four?

So, now, if you are asked again whether the current economic downturn affect your lives, what will be your answer?

(Sigh, stocks keep falling, short sale perhaps mates?)

Deeper

divingPeople who succeed in their lives are those who are brave to put themselves into a risky position. For example, before one could be a successful businessman, he/she must sacrifice his/her money, energy, time, etc before he/she succeeds.

Life is all about courage. Each single thing that we do in our lives needs us to have that spirit. And the level of courage can be a measure for how far one will be in life.

Imagine that you’re going for a scuba diving. The corals down there are so beautiful that one can’t miss amid scuba. Now, the question is, how deep will you dive? If you’re brave, and confident with yourself, you’ll dive as deep as possible to look at those corals and until you can touch them. But, what if your confidence is not strong enough compared to your excitement? You won’t be able to see the corals any near than if you’re brave to go deeper.

We could never meet anyone who achieved triumph without risking something in their lives. For example, if a student wants to have good grades, he/she will have to allocate his/her time well. When is for studies, when should be allocated for socializing, etc. On the other hand, while studying, one’s seriousness to understand each subject also does matter. If he/she does not dive deep enough into subjects that he/she took, it’s uncertain for achieving astounding grades.

The example is quite simple, but if we apply it into our lives, it means a lot, and it will give a lot too. So, go and grab your courage now, use it well in the presence of anything in your lives, and you will live your better lives.

Awaken

busyOne, two, three. This blog has been sleeping for about three months, and when he woke up, it is no longer in 2008. What a lazy blog (not me).

2009 Resolution

Okay, one thing. Not merely an individual resolution, but more to everybody. And it’s about the event that will be held at U of I at the end of May. May that be a successful one ever.

Oh, and I started my new year with full of joy. Even it wasn’t the 1st of January that made my day (it was on January 9th), still it is an awesome opening of 2009 for me. Why? Let’s just leave the question mark there.

What a Semester

Already in the first week of class, not to forget that will have an exam on the second week. Have to email my ‘momentum’ to ask him to come back from his road trip because he thinks that he’s still in winter break. I know he’s still enjoying his bliss, but he has to be home. Otherwise, I won’t be studying for the exam next week.

Only took 14 hours this semester, but pretty sure that the workloads will be like taking more than 14. Then the additional tasks for the coming event, will force me to be more organized on doing things. Should I be reminded that I’d never be such an organized man, so shall I now? Perhaps, this might be the time for me to change. Wohoo, so semangat. I think I should bang my head on the wall, reminding myself that I only have like 2 more years before I will start working. Oh man, are you serious? Isn’t yesterday I was sitting for EST paper, the last paper for SPM. Gosh, I’m getting older, and not only me, but you too. Yeah, you, the one that is reading my blog right now.

Should I be?

Happy? Perhaps not. I’m glad and satisfied with my life right now (but sure will be seeking for a better one as time goes by), but not for our brothers and sisters out there, stepping on bloods, rushing victims for help, howling upon the lost of their loved. Yes, our brothers and sisters in Palestine.

Talked to a friend of mine few days ago about this and there are some things that brings up interest to me to write it here. In Malaysia, people are banning and boycotting any products that support Israel. I got a lot of PMs on my messenger, on facebook, and friendster about all these. It seems like Malaysians are seriously crazily aware on this matter. But, what surprises me is when he said, that from what he observed, only about 30% of Malaysians take this as a serious matter. What happens to the rest? Isn’t Malaysia one of the respected countries in OIC? And if we look at this matter as a human right issue, shouldn’t it be more than half the populations?

Correct me if I’m wrong, back then when I was still in high school (or perhaps in primary), often I heard about boycotting this, banning that, and up until now, it is still the same method. Is it the only and only and only and only way? If one is to achieve his ambition, shouldn’t he/she prepare a lot of strategies, plans and backup plans, and etc? Left this here, and have some thoughts about it.

It’s Reversing

First of all, this post is not about being offensive to any person, groups, races, etc.

How do we evaluate or determine between good and bad? Of course, the answer is simple; good things are good while bad things are bad. For example, if I assaulted (sexually) one of your gorgeous sister (if you have one), it’s absolutely a bad thing and I might spend the rest of my life behind the bar. But, what if your sister is my girlfriend (which means we are not yet married) and we have had some great intercourse together. Now, what is your perception? Is it a good thing or absolutely a bad thing?

I believe, if I put a poll in this post, it would not be a 100% ‘Yes’ to say this intercourse is a bad thing. Yet, it is unlikely easy for the majority to be against this issue if this question is raised to all groups of people regardless their religious view or any.

And these days, it is just like I argued before that the majority is not easily going to be against this issue. It has been in reversal order when human are about to determine between good and bad. Wait, this is not about being open-minded nor close-minded but this is about distinguishing the right and wrong which extremely reversing at this moment.

I pointed out this concern is not solely upon the intercourse issue, but this problem is actually happening in every aspects in our lives. If you don’t trust my words, try to look around you and observe what people are doing and judge them. When you are about to give your justification, think about what will others say about it, whether everybody will agree with you or they wouldn’t.

Why actually this happen? Hurm, what about the end of men?
